Lead Pastors

KEVIN & HAILEY HENDRIX

Kevin and Hailey Hendrix are originally from Alabama and have had a rich ministry journey for the last 15+ years. They currently serve as Lead Pastors at Northshore Worship Center in Covington, LA, and as the Youth & Discipleship Directors of Louisiana.

Pastor Kevin has a long line of Church of God heritage in his family, but his own ministry journey began with obtaining his Exhorter Credentials at age 19. He now stands as an Ordained Bishop in the Church of God, and his dynamic speaking spans many Youth Camps, conferences, and revivals. Kevin’s leadership extends to roles like NYLA President, Alabama Youth Board member, and a Winterfest Board member. He’s also an avid outdoorsman and a great father to their two boys.

Pastor Hailey, also a Church of God credentialed minister, currently serves Northshore Worship Center as the Family Ministries Pastor. Hailey also directs the LA COG Girls Committee, serves as a member of the Winterfest Board and Louisiana Church of God Women’s Board, has held the title of Vice President of NYLA, and assists with the Creative Team for Louisiana COG State Events, Winterfest, and COG World Missions. She, too, loves the great outdoors and spending any free time with her family making memories.

Married since 2013 with two adventurous boys, Baylor and Briggs, they relish being in God’s creation with activities like hiking, kayaking, fishing, hunting, and National Park exploration. Rooted in deep dedication, Kevin and Hailey passionately guide others to fully embrace a life led by Christ and harness the Holy Spirit’s transformative power. They are driven by remarkable motivation, energy, creativity, and a heart for seeing people become the best version of themselves through Christ.

Student Pastors

JONAH & PAYTON ROBERTS

Jonah and Payton Roberts serve as Student Pastors at Northshore Worship Center, where they dedicate their lives to guiding and mentoring the next generation in their faith journey. Married in 2022 and originally from Alabama, Jonah and Payton share a deep-rooted commitment to kingdom work, drawing from their rich heritage in the Church of God. Their calling was further affirmed when they received their Exhorter’s License in 2023, marking a significant step in their ministry.

Together, they are driven by a shared vision of impacting the lives of young people, helping them develop a strong relationship with Christ, and equipping them for service in the world. Outside of ministry, Jonah and Payton love spending quality time with their son Tate, and their dog, Lyla, traveling to new places, watching football, and cherishing moments with family and friends. Their heart for the Church and the next generation is what drives them, and they are excited to continue serving and growing within the Northshore family.
